* A Typical Wedding Day *
6:30 Am on the 'Big Day' - Here we are on our second day of preparation for the wedding. We are loading the lorry with all equipment. On the first day the horses were checked for fitness and soundness. The carriage has been checked and cleaned.
Here are Prince and Katy having their steam clean
so they are ready for the big day.
After a final rinse it's breakfast time.
After breakfast final checks are made, then the horses and carriage are loaded and the farm is handed over to the capable hands of the Nan's.
Once we arrive at our pre-arranged location, Prince and Katy are unloaded, given a final groom then they are harnessed.
The carriage gets a final inspection
Next the horses are put too (hitched to the carriage). Harry after a quick change takes charge of the horses, so that the rest of the team can get changed.
Driver arrives and horses ears back await for the first verbal command.
Command given off we go, lets find the bride.
Found the Bride.
Now to the Wedding.
Safely delivered to the venue
Horses now wait for the newly married couple.
Here are the happy couple.
Delivered to reception
Our work here is now done, so it's back to the lorry, un-hitch and un-harness the horses, load them back into the lorry, load trailer and head back home. |
